Use the official route to market

Blinkit directs brands to Seller Hub for listing and says it has no official partners for product listing. Its Seller Hub covers registration, listings and inventory management. Prepare accurate product, brand and business details, then follow the requirements shown for your application. Consulting support can help you prepare and operate; acceptance and platform decisions remain with Blinkit. Blinkit for brands ↗ · Seller Hub ↗

Choose a focused opening assortment

Our recommendation is to begin with products that solve a clear shopping need and that you can replenish reliably. Compare pack sizes, price per unit, shelf life and packaging strength. A familiar bestseller from another channel is a useful candidate, but it still needs to prove demand here. Avoid sending the entire catalogue before learning which products move in each market.

Make stock decisions alongside commercial decisions

Blinkit publicly lists inwarding, storage, fulfilment and category commission charges, plus certain return and removal charges. Exact product fees are available in Seller Hub. Build these into SKU economics before deciding how much inventory to send. Slow stock can accumulate costs even when the advertising dashboard looks healthy. Blinkit fees and commissions ↗

  • Review sell-through and available stock at the most useful location level your reports support.
  • Separate weak demand from days when shoppers could not buy the product.
  • Use replenishment lead time, shelf life and demand variability to set stock cover.

Advertise where the offer is ready

Blinkit's Brand Central describes sponsored placements and city, shopper-cohort and time-of-day targeting. Use the formats and controls available to your account. Our practical rule is to align campaigns with live assortment and supply, and test a clear objective in a defined market before widening coverage. A small launch test

Illustrative plan: start with three products across two suitable cities. Track stock availability, units sold, net realisation, all fees, ad spend and remaining shelf life. If one variant sells slowly despite good availability, investigate its price, pack size and local demand before sending more stock. If a strong seller repeatedly runs out, fix replenishment before expanding its advertising. Broaden the assortment only when the first test explains what customers want.
